Charles is a litigation and crisis expert, co-founding Thorndon Partners and leading its Disputes practice.
He has over a decade of experience advising on communications for high-profile international issues and disputes, with clients including sports organisations, investors, governments and consumer groups. Charles is qualified in international human rights law with experience at international NGOs and the OSCE.
Before co-founding Thorndon, Charles was a Director at global consultancy Portland and the Co-Head of Litigation PR at specialist issues firm Palatine.
As a media specialist, Charles is also a regular commentator in the press on high-profile legal issues. Recent articles have included the risk of asset seizure after investor-state arbitration for POLITICO, and the rise of legal disputes in football for City AM.
